THE POET PART I – DUSK

In his madness tears were silent rays that warmed his body like two hands

In his silence faces watched his pain, in his state love felt like rain

On his way he found all sorts of men, whores and books would soothe his ache

Leaned on the wet rail of a city bridge, as cars passed by, his only friends

Time would crush him in a restless sleep, while others thought that life prevailed

All those poems that he learned by heart, still unanswered they remain

He faced the lies when he was not prepared, you’re never hard when you’re thirteen

He walked the city, he had nothing to exchange, his only work was not for sale

In his anger he would base his creed, while beautiful dreams would be kept unknown

A noble man was soon to be destroyed, in the old world of gods where good prevailed

THE POET PART II – NEW WORLD

Earth is rising in this silent place, see it cross the window panes

In this world we walk on naked feet and bathe in deep synthetic lakes

Saturn’s light cast over Saito 4, dazzled children play along

Domes protect us from a piercing sun, our cities driven by its force

We’re told this place was built by extraordinary people

The ones that saw the twilight of the earth

All these high titanium walls retain

Human sadness we brought here from the dirt

Our greatest poet wrote his art on that world

Was never known, and no one ever cared

In these suits we breathe the air we make

We miss the wind so much, we miss the rain

Art and science in these endless aisles

Books that might have saved the world we had

We come together, share the sounds of bands

We fill with joy this dry and lonely land

YEAR ZERO

Time, time won’t be here tonight

We’re going so far out

Light scattered deep in the night

We’re endlessly bound

We steer, steer our course in the void

And give meaning to life

Drift so high, far and away

We still live and die

We hold so tight in our hands

The fate of our kind

Streets will be crowded late until dawn

Alpha Centauri will rise

UPSIDE DOWN

358 SE

I released my own sacred world

Like the sun I’ll face the sky and sing to you, burn with you

So, fire can turn me on

Like the stars I’ll heat my core and make you scream, bend your soul

We can dance and drink and carry on

Come and see this world is upside down

So, now that we’re far and gone

Like the sun we’ll face the sky and spit our blood into the wind

So, we’ll take the weight off our hearts

Like the stars we’ll fill our hands with clay and quartz to build our homes

No, we’ll never betray our world

Piercing eyes prepared for war, our shield is love our love is sword

So, destroying archaic thoughts

Have no fear, nor guilt nor shame, that’s how we’re born, how we’re free

We can dream and dance and carry on

Come and see this world is upside down

Like the sun we’ll face the sky and die with it, die for good

Ooh fire can turn me on

I released my own sacred world

Like the sun I’ll face the sky and sing to you, burn with you

We can dare and dream and carry on

Come and see this world is upside down

THE OLD

Sometimes we lose and sometimes we don’t

But always we go down

Sometimes we love and sometimes we don’t

But always we go down

THE NEW

Sometimes we fail, sometimes we don’t

But always we can try

Always we die and that’s all we know

Our lives burn like the stars

THE OLD

Some lives are good and some lives are not

But all of us go down

Some never smile, some never cry

And everyone goes down

THE NEW

Most only grieve and most only pray

But some learn how to fight

Some only take and some just destroy

Yet others still create

Some give their hearts and some are so bold

That they can turn any world upside down

I’m waiting still, sitting

I rise sometimes or I lie waiting

I’ve been here this long time

Assigned to menial tasks

But I am tied, untie my soul

Lights!

I’m just a minor part

But who can endure this time waiting

You are a good man

You are a good man

They’ll send their ships

While all is so calm in my harbor

Their eyes, I’ll see them after time uncertain

I pleasure my mind

With moments when I touch warm hands

The ways that I caress her red hair

The thought of seeing your eyes my sweet child

Forevermore

Is it turning round and pale?

Has the sun become a pearl?

Is music painting skies?

A pretty princess cries

Such perfect sound I say

Please dance with me and stay

Perfect night, hey

Full trees with sunny pears

Cascades and snow will fall

Let’s see a perfect play

Horizon’s red I say

Please stay another day

I grow that star in my mind, it’s fine

Your eyes are all I see, beautiful like sand on Io

Now I may be blind, but I see with my heart

I left my chores aside, it’s fine, I’m tired

What else to do with my life

Unless you speak I’m left to tears

I’ll turn you off if you don’t mind

What you’re saying I don’t understand

I pleasure my mind

My vision has turned infrared now

It’s raining colors all over my face

I hear the words I sing, my sweet child

Forevermore

Let’s begin to roll the dice

Is it day or night or what?

Have lights now grown a tail?

Calisto looks so Cyan

The human lips can touch

My queen let’s go outside

My brain is filled with flowers

I want to give you one

Please dance with me and stay

We’re scared and scream, waaah

Perfect night, hey

Full trees with sunny pears

Cascades and snow will fall

Let’s act that perfect play

Horizon’s bent I say

Please stay another day

I did roam around that world so far

Conducting tests and walking on the ice fields

I dove down to Alexandria’s streets

Years after the meltdown

One day she grabbed my arm and said to me

‘If you stay you’ll die here too, and the kids need you

So leave’

What could I do?

She was the world to me

On the day that I heard her cry

I think I made up my mind, ooh

Darkness reigned for years so long

Shockwaves came, the windows rattled in the house

Wretched earth, the wars of men obliterated the blue from your face

And she said, ‘With you the kids will grow well

The horns so loud

Please go away now

They won’t wait they’ve set the date, ooh’

And so I left

Now we are pieces of Earth we are

Hovering in spacetime, space and time

Terra

Tears our hearts

Stone and fire

Terra

Reefs and ice

Rain and sand

Terra

Plains and tides

Earth we are

BOY TALKING TO SLIGHTLY YOUNGER BOY

I will tell you everything

Once that world was pure blue

Come, let’s ride our bikes

Roads of wheat and barley

Monsters roamed the forests

Hey, someday we’ll go there

MAN TALKING TO SLIGHTLY YOUNGER WOMAN

Help me to feel, as if the Earth was here

Crying is this humble man, tonight will be for you and me

We can forge our ties, we will tell the sun, feeling such a fever

Walking down the rivers with me

Like the sea, even though you’re here

Crying is this tranquil man, tonight will be for you and me

We can give our hearts, we will tell the stars, feeling such a fever

Walking down the rivers with me

BOY TALKING TO SLIGHTLY YOUNGER BOY

They chased what they wanted

And then they explored till so late at night

After years all that changed

And we know this is a better world

But the places they had

And the waves’ only fate was to crash on rocks and wet your smile

So just stare at the stars

And think one of those lights is the land we’re talking of now

MAN TALKING TO SLIGHTLY YOUNGER WOMAN

Help me to feel, as if the Earth was here

Crying is this humble man, tonight will be for you and me

We can forge our ties, we will tell the sun, feeling such a fever

Walking down the rivers with me

Like the sea, even though you’re here

Crying is this tranquil man, tonight will be for you and me

We can give our hearts, we will tell the stars, feeling such a fever

BOY TALKING TO SLIGHTLY YOUNGER BOY

There was a time

They gathered to sing by the fire

There was a time

They looked for their gods in the sky

There was a time, a time when you played in the sun

Green was the ground, blue was the ceiling back then

Wind blew so hard, that you could catch a cold outside

Rain poured so much, that you played and splashed in the mud

There was a time, a time when you played in the sun

Green was the ground, blue was the ceiling back then

Wind blew so hard, that you could get a cold outside (You know what a cold is right?)

Rain poured so much, that you played and splashed in the mud

STILL ALIVE

1 BSE

A tired soul, I’m feeling down

Aware that I’m still around

I’ve always known, I‘ve always felt

I cherish what people don’t

I’m walking out to clear my thoughts

To feel that I’m still alive

It presses down, it hurts so bad

Drowning me, these days I’ve been failing life

I found a note, mysterious words

It read, ‘Are you still alive?’

A message came, encrypted map

They must know I’m still alive

But I feel down, I feel lost

I know I’ve strayed, I feel like a wasted life

From every thought, from every flaw

Aware that I’m still alive

I wake at dusk I walk till dawn

I’ll sing while I’m still alive

And in the dark, the saddened eyes, the pain the fear

This world is no place to smile

They swallow lies, obedient mobs

We left the world in their hands

But a secret group is planning now

The escape that’ll save our kind

I think they are beyond those hills, below that star

If the guide that I hold is right

I need to know where you are, where you’ll go

You thought I deserved to go

You’re in the sky, propelled by fire

Until no force can drag you down

Life here dies

You’ll leave this sun and find a star

You’ll build a world dreamed in your hearts

Far from here

Above the pain you fly so high

You can’t deny that I’m alive

Left down here

You don’t need love to survive

You can’t deny I was a child

Once loved, free

You’re in the sky, I had my chance

You can’t deny that I’m alive

You left us here and that’s just fine

Build a new world with your hearts

FALLING

I can’t hear your voice

You betrayed our oath

I can’t see your eyes

You won’t feel my hands

Hear me saying

Cradle me tonight

While space is growing, growing, growing, growing

Growing, growing, growing without reason under no command

All the stars look smaller and your memory seems much fainter now

Eternity we had when we embraced in search of the evening star

Calling without reason but your name’s so sweet

Please try to hold my arms in space

I’m falling, falling, falling, falling

Falling, falling, falling without reason under no command

All the stars look smaller and your memory seems much fainter now

Falling, falling, falling to a place that’s void of light and sound

Calling without answer but your name‘s so sweet

I wish that we could be together
